Raymarine’s Axiom chartplotter systems offer advanced engine integration with popular Yamaha Marine engine systems using their 6YG NMEA 2000 Gateway device.
When connected to the Yamaha Command Link or Command Link Plus network, the 6YG gateway device enables the use of Yamaha’s Command Link app on Axiom. The app provides factory-certified connectivity with Yamaha-specific graphics, alerts, alarms and controls. Real-time engine performance data, tank levels, trim settings and more are all available on the full-screen Command Link app.
To get Yamaha engine data and the Yamaha app on your Axiom system you’ll need to add the Yamaha 6YG NMEA2000 Gateway to your Command Link or Command Link Plus network, and then tie it into the SeaTalk NG navigation network. This will enable and activate the Yamaha app on Axiom.
Helm Master EX is Yamaha’s flagship digital, drive-by-wire electronic control system for premium powerboats. Raymarine’s Axiom XL series chartplotters can be integrated with the Helm Master EX system for seamless display and control of the Helm Master EX system.
Axiom XL integrates with the Helm Master EX system using a combination of HDMI video and NMEA2000 data. Control and visualization of the Helm Master EX experience is enabled through a Yamaha-supplied Type 2 MFD Interface Kit (6YM-762G0-50-00) while engine performance data flows through a Yamaha 6YG NMEA2000 Gateway (6yG-8A2D0-11-00.) Raymarine’s certified Command Link app provides Yamaha-specific graphical displays, alerts, alarms and controls. Real-time engine performance data, tank levels, trim settings and more are all available on the full-screen Command Link app. Helm Master EX settings and adjustments are accessible through Axiom XL’s HDMI input and can be easily modified with the included Yamaha wireless remote control unit. These Yamaha-specific components can be supplied by your boat manufacturer or local Yamaha Marine dealer.
